Newlyn Harbour branding

Rebranding and responsive website design for Newlyn Harbour in Cornwall, UK. The aim was to find a balance between maintaining the history of the harbour, while also bringing in contemporary elements into the brand. I was given a photograph of their old crest as inspiration. I re-drew this in Illustrator and used it as a base when designing the new logo. It was important to me to keep the originality of the harbour but also bring it into the future. Their previous website was dated and difficult to navigate. I wanted to make sure that the new website would be user friendly and clear, as it would be used from both a commercial and private point of view. Development of the branding, the original crest, icons designed for the website and the finished website design.
