Newspaper Layout, 2012

  • Dodam Jeong
This was drawn from a subject, which was 'Square'. After defining that square ‘contains something,’ I concluded that something is eventually ‘the information,’ making the work with ‘newspapers’ that typically contain their information in a square format.
Usage of the front-page of everyday newspapers; The front-page of newspapers usually contains the implication of the headlines, which I believe is important to show the continued duration and the importance of the topics.

1. Square: the san-serif font and photo images
(The element was minimised because when looking at the area of the layout, It is distinctive between texts and images.)
2. Dotted square: the serif font
3. Square in red: advertisements

Each different topic was distinguished by the use of colours.
