Nick Ballón, Leipzig for NYT

“Ghost stories aren’t necessarily meant to frighten — often, they’re ways to explain to ourselves the living’s unresolved matters of the heart: old ambitions, old loves, old hatreds.” Nick has recently been working to illustrate a story, ‘Did You Die At Home?’ written by Alexander Chee. The NYT T’s Nov 15 Travel Issue is dedicated to ghost stories and includes three original short stories written just for the magazine.
