'no homo bro' is an exploration of male intimacy and its relationship to homoeroticism, questioning whether one can be without the other. An increased acceptance for men to express their emotions openly has enabled men to become more intimate with one another, but where is the boundary between bromance and being gay? The series examines how traditional “toxic” masculinity can impact homosocial bonds between men, and therefore intends to create a conversation about gender performance by distorting the concept of the male gaze.
