Serving as Assistant Director and Head of Background Research for this play was a life-changing experience. It allowed me the opportunity to learn about the rich history if Iraq, particularly that of the Chaldean Christians. Working with and getting to know Heather Raffo made me realize that I'd never pursued my passion for writing. I credit most, if not all, of my passion for Middle Eastern causes and storytelling to this project. Spring 2020 The American University in Cairo
