Laura Pannack — The Journey Home From School, Cape Flats 2024 @laurapannack
Making our way home from school is a simple, nostalgic, universal activity. Laura has been collaborating with young people in the cape flats in South Africa. They face the threat of crossfire daily as they take this journey. Laura shared cameras and techniques with them to tell this story.
Sophie Ebrard's photograph is part of an ongoing project « Mon ami Achraf, » captured on the West Coast of Morocco. For the past two years, she has been documenting the life of a young man named Achraf, whom she first met 17 years ago when he was just a child. The boy featured in this image is Issam, one of Achraf’s close friends. The series delves into themes of young adulthood and friendship.
