In a collaboration that has flourished since 2018, The Nest Post has utilised their VFX, Graphic artists and video editors to both inform and iterate Octo Member Group’s media platform output. Octo is an app based private members network for financial service professionals. Primarily focused on user-generated content to give members a direct and personable feel, Octo’s engaging and disruptive approach sets them apart from similar forums in this highly competitive field. Initially, Octo approached The Nest to build out their launch video projects and branding: they wanted unique intro and outro sequences that subverted traditional aesthetics associated with corporate video, particularly in financial services. Over exploratory meetings; we built conceptual several pack ideas which included titles, slides, chapter headings, lower thirds and other graphical elements to further enhance the content supplied. After that, we formed an elaborate set of edit templates for each video type, this template enabled us to streamline the process in which we could deliver the content, ensuring that their audiences received both quality and quantity. Highly engaged and willing to explore this together and once selected, these elements were refined to create an innovative branding deck that encapsulated all that the founders of Octo had envisioned. The Nest Post enjoys a creatively dynamic relationship with Octo, continuing to help enhance their vibrant social platform with new and engaging online content and iterating our businesses in unison. Since beginning our collaborative work we continue to work together on their video elements and have delivered many hundreds of video and video graphics projects as the platform member base grows based upon their continually developing output. In recognition of their innovative approach to community based digital content and education Octo, has won the Pershing Award for Innovation in Wealth Management at the City of London Wealth Management Awards (COLWMA) in 2019 and their CEO Lee Robertson has been recognised for his commitment to disruptive media in fintech by winning the Financial Services Development Award in the Systems in the City Financial Technology Awards in 2020 "I made a very deliberate choice to locate at The Nest.
