Odile, in pursuit to her light side, chained by obsession. Showing a sleek and poised image of hers, I intended to use its darkness and drama to reveal the (literally) chaining obsession only at a second glance. The chain and the mirror symbolise the bruised self holding the sweet vulnerability (what Odette represented) in contempt and great control. The light self balancing the shadow. We cannot keep the grip tight for so long without the whole body tensing up little by little; and the obsession, too, begins to flow through her veins from touch to ear and sweetly whispers to never let go. But the balance eventually has to falter.
