Featuring an adaption of the folk tale "King Lindworm", Of Dragons and Cranes is a book of nine main illustrations as well as a number of decorative images.
The content is presented first as an artist book. With a near to A3 format and loose pages the aim is to challenge the conventional reading experience and create a ritual of storytelling in text and image. The cover is made with laser cut (oak stained) birch plywood and mirror gold acrylic.
The tale and illustrations have also been adapted into a traditional hardback volume, which includes a short appendix with details about the flora and fauna featured in the book's decorative elements.
