An intimate character diptych, Of Memory And Debris tells the story of an unseen generation — the grandparents left behind by the largest exodus in Latin America's recent history. Rodrigo, the film's director, and I worked closely for a few months to shape this hard and intimate story. He was in Canada and I was in Spain, but this was not a problem because we both had a shared idea of where we wanted to take this film. Of Memory and Debris has been screened at festivals around the world and recently received a Staff Pick from Vimeo.
