Two design entries I've worked on for Ohh Deer's Pillow Fight cushion design competition. "Midnight" Drawing on a commission project I had last year, I wanted to develop this into a 3D format to allow more of an interaction with the drawings details and see how these colours can feature in a home/living space. Making my drawings part of a focal point in a cosy setting. "Carnaby shells" This began as a photo series I'm developing - documenting places I pass through during this stage of my life. Originally it started as a photo of the Christmas lights on Carnaby Street I took last year and one I'm in the process of translating into a digital painting. I was really interested in the details the shell featured, the contrast of the festive period and the warm summers shells are usually associated with. I'm very excited to be a part of this project - "Midnight" currently has over 170 points which is more than I ever imagined! The deadline is 20/03/20 so there's still time to vote if you wish so head over to ohhdeer.com to have a look! (to find my designs search for Ellie Rooke)
