Oil Down

"Oil Down" is a photo project that i embarked on in may of 2021 and continued July-August 2022 in my mothers home country of Grenada. Both trips I aimed to really spend a month and melt myself back into the environment that sculpted my family. Im an avid traveler but My most recent trip to Grenada helped me to slow down and really connect with my cultural and familial roots. Through this project my aim is to really create a narrative on Grenada and really be a able to showcase a 360 degree view on the island through whether its through street photography, landscape or portraiture. I am exceedingly passionate about exploring myself and the world around me whilst learning how I can authentically represent and tell stories. This work has helped me to form a more deeper connection with my family and really make a mark on Grenada since no one has every made a photo-book or photo project about it.
