Surf is where you find it. Surfing in the United Kingdom has interesting roots In cold waters, and while it is fair to say that surfing has become somewhat gentrified in recent times, the UK still has a pretty gnarly cold water surf scene. And while it’s no Bali or the North Shore of Hawaii, the UK has some undeniably remarkable breaks, Porthleven, Thurso, Cribbar, Saltburn and many more we wouldn’t dream to share. Onion Magazine is a project I have wanted to make for a number of years, and look forward to continue making.
