Organic Reflections

A collection based on Chihuly's glass work exhibition at Kew Gardens where the fluid shapes appeared as something that came from the sea. Techniques including machine and digital embroidery, hand embroidery and embellishment techniques, laser cutting, digital print, UV print and fabric manipulation. Sustainability played a big role in this project through natural dyeing alongside organic fibres including peace silks, bamboo silks and recycled fibre manufactured from plastic bottles.
