Origins Obscure (Magazine)

  • Jason Finch

Developed as part of a group project during my time at 'University of Bolton', Origins Obscure was an opportunity for myself and others in the class at the time to find out how we would all work as part of a team. The idea behind Origins Obscure came from wanting to talk about mythical creatures, urban myths, folktales, etc. In the magazine, we would take these concepts and present them in our own way, these include; putting them in modern situations, presenting them as if they are real, showcasing the science behind them among more. Advertisements were also designed for this magazine themed around our workloads. My role in this group was to take some creatures from varying myths and folktales and presenting them in modern day scenarios. These are some examples that I have contributed to the group.
