Orthodox Easter

Orthodox Easter is usually one to four weeks after the Catholics. The tradition goes with cracking hard boiled dyed eggs. The symbolism comes from Ishtar, the Assyrian and Babylonian goddess of fertility and sex as her symbols are the egg and bunny. In my country families usually prepare the coloured eggs and make a special sweet bread named "kozunak".
