Concept In a team of 3, design an alphabet in under 48 hours using ‘games’ as the prompt, as part of TypeJam London 2018. Strategy After brainstorming and initial visual research, my teammates and I began sketching letterforms based on ouija board typography. The pen strokes I drew using Pilot Parallels informed the Tuscan serifs and we developed the weight and curves to achieve a bold, fun, contemporary font — which won first place ! We presented Ouija together at Type Thursday soon after.
