Ounje

"Ounje" - (Yoruba) translation: Food Not only is this S/S21 collection fun and colourful but it tells a narrative about two cultures colliding. Living in a melting pot that is London, means that I have been blessed with the opportunity to meet and immerse myself with different cultures. Due to my love of colour, I have been able to create prints that explore negative spacing through its compatible colour palette. Each print displays a different perspective of floral design through its drawing and media. This collection explores identity through my own dual-heritage. My prints tell my unique story of my dual-heritage and breaking free from traditions, expectations, hopes and fears and what it takes to succeed in London.
