Responding to the needs of a innner-city youth centre OUR ARE delivered a series of art workshops to a group of children aged 6 - 14 years old. The workshops culminated with the publication of a magazine co-authored with the participants.
The project became a form of extended research testing how cultural practitioners may interact with a living community, and more specifically how a university and its students may engage. It finished with an exhibition and publication launch where parents, members of the community and youth centre workers met to debate these issues.
