Our Place- Community Strategy Game Toolkit

Our Place is a roleplay game exploring how government, businesses and civil society can support citizens to Take the Jump. Based on the six shifts, the card game explores what different stakeholders can and should do to enable, amplify or strengthen individual climate actions.

The Workshop

The workshop supports communities to make positive change in their place through peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and community building. Players explore one of the six shifts in detail, mapping out all the changes that would make it more achievable for them and then identifying ways to make those changes happen.

The Toolkit
The toolkit provides local Take the Jump groups, individuals and climate action communities with everything they need to run their own Our Place workshops. It includes a deck of cards, instrcutions, worksheets and a guide for facilitators.

Our Place workshops are a fun and engaging way to get more people involved in climate action in their local area. The toolkit gives them the tools to start forming climate action groups and creating action plans.

I delivered this project through from concpetualisation and planning to completion. My involvement included delivering prototype workshops, evaluation and designing the final toolkit which comprises a deck of cards, instructions presentation and a guide for facilitators.
