Our trench

Our generation was born in the middle of an environmental battle, which might not be warlike, but still is threatening to our existence. It has become a problem from which all individuals are part of: we all have some guilt to bare and are therefore responsible. Being conscious of its scale and the overwhelming it can become, this documentary aims to show a small part of the whole. Traveling the Metropolitan Area of Guadalajara, located in Jalisco, Mexico. Putting up in the screen the consequences of a deficient water management and its direct repercussions to the lives of its citizens and neighbor communities, and to the climate change we’ve all been suffering. Mentioning the participation of CO2 emissions as an important factor that contributes to global warming and the technological possibility to give it a second use, that instead of doing damage, shows an alternative in favor of adapting to climate change.
