Out of Sight

This project is an attempt to, literally, visualise visual impairment, using the camera lens and post-production techniques to enhance our understanding of how other senses compensate for loss of vision. Braille, the tactile language of visual impairment, is here represented as a ‘window’ to information about the world in the absence of sight.
