Campaign to get Horniman Museum visitors to go inside the Horniman Library and interact with the display of their Anna Atkins ‘Cyanotype Impressions’.
A series of three posters (that have the ability to turn into leaflets) were created, each one representing a study area of the Library.
The visuals were made by using a contemporary version of cyanotypes - photocopying (all images come from the library).
The leaflets are perforated into squares that can be teared off for visitors to keep as postcards or to build together a mural of modern cyanotypes in the library.
The tagline ‘Out of the Blue’ goes back to the accidental discovery of cyanotypes and links to the library coming out of the blue itself.
