Out of Touch

'Out of Touch' is my Final Major Project at university and explores tactile manipulation of fabrics and processes to create an interactive, comforting and ethereal collection of textiles, abstracted from nature and designed for the older woman. Through the precautions of space during the pandemic began a growing fear of touch. This collection was inspired by this and aims to invite touch and tactility through the textiles as well as represent the barrier and veiling we have all experienced.
