I took part in Oxfam's nationwide music project, Oxjam as a Gig Maker. My role as a Gig Maker involved putting on a gig as part of the Oxjam festival, as part of a 2 man team. My responsibilities included booking and liaising with artists, marketing and creating promotional material for use on social media and controlling finances. The event, held at The Phoenix, Coventry on the 22nd October was incredibly successful and we raised £400 for Oxfam through ticket sales and a raffle.
