Packaging Designs For A Non-Alcoholic Beverage Company

The brief was to create a new look and feel for Mixed Up Drinks Co.’s range of non-alcoholic cocktails in a can. My process started by putting together a bright and summery colour palette inspired by the Mediterranean, a destination where you might enjoy these classic cocktails. Using the ingredients for each SKU (Gin & Tonic, Aperol Spritz and Mojito) I developed illustrations in a style inspired by Matisse’s cutout paintings.

Mixed Up Drinks Co. supplied their logo as their identity already has good brand recognition. Currently, they don’t have a strapline. The brand values are; great times, good people, always share and better together. I created the line ‘Join the party!’ to imply that people could still enjoy their favourite cocktails whilst still keeping a clear head. I developed some iconography to visually communicate the product benefits to consumers.
