Throughout 2019 we produced a number of pop-up events for Paco Rabanne, in collaboration with our production partner Elvis. The brand wished to go into 2020 with a bang and produce an event that celebrated its 54-year legacy and iconic range of products. Our team of Designers, Project Managers and Technical Delivery Specialists worked with Elvis to meticulously plan every detail of the event. The scene was set in the industrial docklands of East London, with Wapping Hydraulic Power Station chosen due to its incredible atmosphere and wow factor, to host the three-day event. The size of the venue allowed us to build a large-scale immersive walk-through experience at the entrance, ensuring this event was one that would not be forgotten. The entrance was designed to appear like a giant stack of presents, themed around Paco Rabanne's Express Delivery packaging and constructed from large shipping containers. Once inside guests went on an immersive walk-through experience through a VIP Paparazzi Tunnel, Golden Glitter Wind Tunnel and an Infinity Room. This experience led to the main event space situated in the heart of the Power Station. With the theme set around the brands extravagant packaging, everything inside glistened with gold. From the giant present that DJ's perfromed out of in the centre of the room, to the bar which had a bespoke menu designed to represent Paco Rabanne's iconic fragrances. We created a giant locker wall which ran down one side of the event space, each locker had a Paco Rabanne fragrance that was given to the guest who opened it, among other treats. The entire room was designed to provide an instagrammable backdrop for the party, with branded shimmer walls and product displays taking the centre stage. The event was the most talked-about party in town, with the opening night being attended by numerous celebrities and bloggers. Our event structure stood out among the London skyline from above and delivered in celebrating the Paco Rabanne legacy as we stepped into 2020.
