PALM SPRINGS POOL SIDE

Palm Springs Poolside is a Collection of young womenswear prints inspired by synchronised swimmers and vintage swimwear, based within Palm Springs. Capturing the vintage aspect and updating this with a 21st century twist taking a fun, innovative, modern approach. I have explored synchronised swimming taking a playful approach adapting to my graphic style of working. I have designed a collection of digital prints with elements of hand embellishment on a variety of lightweight materials including cotton, as well as lycra, and PVC to create a fun, playful and versatile collection. Using sun-bleached neon’s my collection is very bold and vibrant. Within this, I have explored using laser cut as well as hand cut sequins, making my work unique and personal to me. Designed to be Aimed within high street young womenswear market, for spring / summer 21.
