The idea behind this project was to create a sparse, meditative atmosphere which highlights the remoteness of the hotel and creates a world which is both relaxing but kinetic at the same time. Here the focus was on creating a sophisticated sound-bed that encapsulated a simple ambient melody, building layers exponentially in line with the increasing frame rate. The effect is a natural crescendo which creates interest without disrupting the state of calm.
