Patient Education Leaflet

There are no educational leaflets for patients on non-invasive ventilation, a treatment for those with severe respiratory problems. Patients often don’t understand what to expect and this can leave them unprepared for the experience. This leaflet is designed to educate patients and relatives/carers on why and how non-invasive ventilation is used. Providing information on the process and why it is being used could help in the outcome of NIV.
