Pelican Nest - branding and social media

Concept for the branding of bistro bar and music venue “Pelican Nest“. A sleek visual language was chosen to establish a modern and fun image, including the use of geometric assets, flamboyant and flashy brand colours and a light hearted tone of voice. For this project, current branding trends in digital media were explored and researched, with a focus on social media content. Elements such as minimalistic, geometric and curved photography, decorative assets placed with gradient backgrounds and modern, sans serif fonts were collected. The branding is showcased on the bar’s Instagram feed and on printed material such as menus and posters. The lively brand colours are placed in contrast with b&w and low saturation photography.
