Penguin Student Design Award

My three entries for the Penguin Student Design Award, all three are pieces of work that I am really proud of. Goodnight Mister Tom plays on the idea of the two main characters different struggles in their home locations and how lonely they are apart. A Short History of Nearly Everything plays on the idea of Bill Bryson's warm personality and I wanted to reflect that by throwing as much of 'everything' within a sun based design. The Night Manager plays on the idea of the main villain who is consistently hard to nail down, I did this by hiding ropers character and hiding him using nautical patterns and analogue scans, which reflected the spy world at the time before digital means of tracking and observation. separating the book from the tv show.
