People of Marrakech

People of Marrakech was a field project in which each student had to represent the colours and textures of Morocco. The group went to Marrakech and spent one week exploring the city. For me the most fascinating thing of their culture was their people: they had the true colours and textures of Morocco.
Using photography as my way of expression, I explored this idea of capturing images of people around the city. At the end I picked up five photographs, vectorized them and created a module for repetition in Illustrator. With this module done, I arranged it and scaled it in order to turn it into a pattern, that was digitally printed on fabric later.
All photographs were taken by me.
