Pequeña Palma Huracanada by Los Carpinteros with Factum Arte

The work was created in sections by taking moulds of a real palm tree. The stem of a tree was covered in silicone and the mould of the stem was filled with plaster. Individual leaves were made of wax from a silicone mould of real leaves. The palm and the leaves were cast in bronze and assembled at the foundry. The piece was shown at Freize Art Fair, London 2019.
