PERFECT GUY SINGLE ARTWORK, BOY BLEACH

This was the artwork for the single ‘Perfect Guy’ by Boy Bleach. The song itself deals with living outside of the expectations people have of you, also linking concepts of toxic masculinity and what it means to be a “perfect guy”. Originally Jimi (in shot) had drawn up an image similar to the end result - a man with lipstick stained kisses all over his body. The kisses are showcasing links to the song, almost visually representative of the constant barrage of criticisms and expectations of society. We also shot some other takes, including shots of Jimi’s face, looking fed up/bored, a little concerned potentially, and then a flip side of nonchalant nature, eating an apple as if immune to the thoughts of the viewer.
