As part of World Alzheimer's day, we were tasked to make a short documentary telling Peter Lyttle's story. Diagnosed with vascular dementia at the age of 58, Peter found himself in a dark place, depressed and suicidal. With the right support, Peter was able to turn his life around and is now doing amazing work to help as many other people affected by dementia as he can.
This up close and personal story was used to get people talking about the issue that many people in the UK are facing. There are 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK, like Peter.
