Our pals over at Pets Pro needed a custom Shopify store to showcase their healthy dog supplements.
OUR PLAN IN MOTION - PROCESS
The boys came to us with an incredible brand that we translated into a store to promote and sell their heathy dog supplements. Meeting up with them a couple of times to get a feel and understanding of requirements a joint dropbox was setup to share files and begin the design process.Tailoring the visual journey in Photoshop showcasing we focused on highlighting the brilliant packages supported by great Pets Pro advice building trust and positioning themselves as an authority on the subject.Once the designs were signed off we went to work with the Shopify integration, building this from the ground up making sure it works responsively across multiple devices and gracefully scales back for older browsers.The content was easy to add and manage through the Shopify system, ourselves and the client were able to contribute and get this ready for go live.

We took the existing brand packaging and crafted the online journey, giving Pets Pro a brilliant platform to be an authority in the field and generate traffic.

HOW WE MADE IT BETTER
Going through a few concept variations and tweaks in Photoshop we were able to finalise the designs efficiently before integrating within Shopify. Once built Shopify allowed us to easily handle updating images and content.
WHAT WE LEARNED
I still feel there is a need for Photoshop in the design process, we would love to use Sketch more but still hugely depend on Photoshops ability to cut out, edit and manipulate images. Having to then bring these into Sketch slows the workflow, I’m sure we’ll find a solution moving forwards.
