PHOTO-SYNTHETIC

This series of photographs was created by using a battery operated projector, out in dark remote locations, and scenes created using 3D modeling software and then presented on the landscape. The way the projector reacts to the forms and contours of nature, highlights this slow takeover of the natural world by the built up technological one that we mostly inhabit. The scale of the projection in person creates an eerie and oppressive feeling, mixed with wonder and this series of photographs hope to capture and display this emotional response to be shared and hopefully spark some thoughts of how we can work to push the global society in a more positive and constructive direction.
