Photography - New Orleans 2020

Shot in March 2020 in New Orleans, right after the festivities of Mardi Gras and just before lockdown was enforced; in a city usually fuelled by its vibrant hospitality industry and world-famous parades and parties. I was there right up until the day that curfews and closings were enforced, blissfully unaware of what was to come and of the fact that I was capturing the last days of 'normality' that NOLA would see for a while. The fabric of the city is truly a unique mix of cultures and rich history, woven together by unreal food and a warm and welcoming atmosphere; unlike any other city I've ever experienced.
