The designs were awarded a Master Medal in Spirits Business Design and Packaging Masters 2021 Pimentae Drinks commissioned two bespoke oil paintings to feature as the bottle labels for their first bottled cocktail; ‘Tommy's Chilli Margarita’. The two paintings; ‘Bold Icons’ on the front and ‘Illustrative Storytelling’ on the back, wrap the bottle and tell the tale of the brand Pimentae and its roots in Mexico. The surrealist paintings that wrap the bottle aim to capture the key ingredients of; tequila, lime, and a fiery twist that defines the uniqueness of this classic Margarita. The process begins by assembling a collage, playing with the scale and composition of the subject matter to produce a visual that is full of colour and harmonious shapes.
