This editorial visualises how marine life is trapped, suffocated and consume plastic waste. For this studio shoot, I combined graphic visuals alongside still life inspiration. Pushing my creative skills to my full potential, I was inspired to challenge and visualise the devastating effects that microplastics have on the environment and ourselves. Using recycled pipettes and plastic beads, I hand made these miniature water bottles prior to the studio shoot. The purpose of these was to represent the tiny pieces of plastics, known as microplastics, that are found in the oceans, inside animals and ultimately inside people.
