Plates for Edmiston Yachts

Two plates designed exclusively for Edmiston's Christmas gifts for their clients, December 2021. Using their red and gold brand colours and taking inspiration from sea-life, I started this exciting commission for Edmiston Yachts by illustrating four of my favourite sea creatures. I love the ocean, it’s one of my main sources for inspiration, so to be able to create a contemporary and stylish design in this theme was a dream commission. Edmiston chose two of their favourite illustrations before these 300 Staffordshire fine bone china 10-inch dessert plates were hand-decorated with gold Charleston inspired borders for the final touch. I chose a soft pink background for the coral design for a subtle contrast. I've always loved pink and red together and exploring tone variations. The plates were packaged in a high-quality red box with Edmiston's logo in gold foil on the front. The box was made especially to fit and protect the two plates, and were sent around the world to Edmiston's clients as Christmas gifts.
