Playtime

From looking at runways and campaigns, I saw an influx in lingerie and sensual looks. I created an editorial based on the idea that the lockdown has made humans desperate for connection and touch. That is why we see so many runway pieces, even from conservative houses like Prada, showing as much skin as possible. This leads me to the concept of how lingerie as a fashion industry sector is only recently breaking through in terms of diversity for gender roles, size, and race. To complete this publication, I was heavily inspired by Playboy magazines and culture but seen through a modern female gaze and addressing diversity issues.
