Playtime Madness

This project has been applied for a competition for the Bradford Textile Society. The competition aims at designing samples to use for children's clothing, with mostly cotton based materials. This work was developed from a summer project I worked on, drawing my childhood toys in a variety of materials. I continued this on through some collages and developing my motifs to pick a colour palette and imagery suitable for the project. My main focus was materiality and texture, and making sure its would be suitable for children's wear.
