(Current project) Bonnie is creating a range of tactile objects using techniques such as kiln-formed and cast glass, metals and mixed media. Taking inspiration from familiar forms found in fruit and vegetables, Bonnie hopes to encourage her audience to explore and play with the tactile forms she creates. Opposing the well-known rule ‘do not touch’ amongst art and sculpture, she wants the audience to allow their innate sense of learning curiosity to take over, and explore the objects before them however they wish.
