PolyThought

PolyThought deliver forward thinking, and innovative electronic music experimenting with sound design, song structure and texture. Oliver Tank met Vinay Matta (Hansaa) in their home town of Sydney, Australia. The pair instantly connected based on their similar tastes in music, organic instrumentation and progressive soundscapes. In collaboration with Pretty—Soon®, I was tasked to create an identity system for the band that could be utilised across album covers, tour posters and social media. The “X” within the logotype symbolises the meeting of the two solo artists and collaborating together to form this new music venture. Animation states were inspired by the energy and unexpected glitches within the music. This project is on-going, with 3 more singles due out in 2019 and a full release album in early 2020.
