Pottery Workshop at Roots Out
I was first invited by Roots Out community garden in March to do a pottery session for kids. We’ve done 4 separate sessions in total and I truly enjoyed every second of it. I taught them how to make ceramic plant pots using air-drying clay with the pinching technique. This showed me how important it is to nurture creativity from a young age, encourage curiosity, give freedom to create and that imperfection is okay. It’s a full filing and heartwarming experience and grateful for the oppurtunity! Here are some of the results:
