A proposal was made to the owner of the business outlining a 5 week development phase including a mock design of the interactive webpage. The project aim was to create a brand for the business with the use of Adobe Photoshop. Elicitation of requirements from the owner set the project in motion where a brand was designed fitting the Presidential Suya culture, to the satisfaction of the client.
The proposed design was a one page ‘Flat design’ site, permitting an ‘on-click’ on the homepage comprising of an About, Menu, Food & Drinks, and Contact section.
Managing weekly meetings with the owner I would gather requirements in order to gain an understanding of the brand, culture and history of the small business.
A contact form (built using PHP) which sends a message to the owner’s e-mail inbox enabled the client to operate and respond to bookings and special requests. The owner would receive booking inquiries on his mobile phone allowing him to act efficiently. Test emails were sent to ensure the functions of the contact form were working correctly.
