Princess of Abyssinia

The beautiful Rahiwa styled by Maisha Marshall-Ende and shot and creative directed by me. We shot this at Sabahar, an authentic weaving business located in Addis Ababa. It was a pleasure to return to the country I grew up in to shoot this project, which explores 'the beauty of woman' through the lens of Ethiopian cultural features. We got to work with some real silk-producing butterflies as well!
