'For this series I wanted to bring a feeling of slow, sun-soaked days and the Mediterranean, somewhere that is a constant source of inspiration for me. Most of these shots were taken on the island of Tinos on a mixture of 35mm film and digital and it's the play of light and shadows and also the simplicity of these shots which made me drawn to choosing them, I've realized recently that it's always the more simplistic and almost mundane frames that I come back to time and time again, I find they bring a sense of calm.'
